marvel - Where in MCU canon is the 'Team Thor' mockumentary?

I've just seen the Mocumentary 'Team Thor'.

I can't tell how seriously to take this; it shows Thor tucking Mjolnir into a mini bed, but it also shows a pin board of connections between lots of important events in the Marvel universe.

Did this really happen in the MCU, or should I take it with a pinch of salt?

Based on Thor: Ragnarok, Team Thor is mostly non-canon, but Darryl might still exist.

According to Thor: Ragnarok, Bruce Banner has been off-planet in Hulk form for the past 2 years. It would have been impossible for him and Thor to have the conversation shown in the Team Thor short.

Additionally, we see that Bruce Banner has no memory of any events taking place after Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Thor's old roommate Darryl does show up again in an extra short for Thor Ragnarok, but similar to Team Thor, it probably shouldn't be considered cannon.

So we know that the money comes directly from the trainer that just lost, and not some third-party committee or sponsor. But how is this done? It can be easy seeing the random trainers who challenge you along the way wanting to wager and then, after admitting defeat, sticking to their word and handing over their hard-earned pokebucks. Then there are the likes of Team Rocket and Giovanni, who also give money once they lose. This doesn't seem like something people in a criminal organization would willingly do. From this it appears that trainers have no say in whether or not they cough up the dough after losing, but I can't find anything on how exactly the funds are transferred from loser to winner.
